World’s Greatest Shave 2019
In 2019, Strong Event Management was given the opportunity to manage a regional fundraising drive for the hugely popular and successful fundraising event, World’s Greatest Shave.
Previously named Shave for a Cure, the World’s Greatest Shave essentially began in 1998 with the Graydon family, in conjunction with the Leukaemia Foundation hosting their very first ‘shave event’.
The Fundraising Event’s purpose is to increase awareness of the challenges people face with Leukaemia, highlighting the importance of raising funds to find a cure and assist those individuals and families facing the battle.
Strong Event Management Success
Strong Events – Event Management Australia eclipsed sponsorship targets and exceeded all fundraising expectations in one evening.
The event successfully brought together the local community, involving local businesses and media were actively participating to ensure a fun night was had by all while, at the same time bringing to light the challenges that people living with blood cancer face.
